Inns With Distinct Personalities Join Ontario’s
Finest Inns and Spas
Four
inns with distinct personalities have joined Ontario’s Finest
Inns and Spas. From restaurants featuring seasonal and organic ingredients
to unique settings like a vineyard and a former dairy, they stand
out as unique and intriguing destinations.
The Inn
and Spa at Cobble Beach is nestled among the rolling
hills and blue waters of Georgian Bay. A boutique inn, it offers
unique suites with their own décor personality as well as
a fitness centre, steam room and spa. Its new award winning golf
course has hosted golfers from around the world and the Sweetwater
Restaurant and Bar is famous for its seasonal and organic ingredients.
With Prince Edward County at its doorstep, the Inn
at Huff Estates features quality décor that
combines rich red and pale straw hues with warm wood trims. Two
water features combine with natural elements to connect the interior
with the surrounding landscape. The Inn is set amid an estate vineyard
and offers endless possibilities for corporate retreats, weddings
or private functions.
Located on the historic Trent-Severn Canal System, Rawley
Resort and Marina is ideally situated for anyone interested
in exploring the truly spectacular Georgian Bay and many points
of interests available in the Muskoka district. Those looking for
a more relaxing stay can wile away the day sitting by the pool or
on the docks idly watching yachts cruising by. The Inn has been
beautifully restored and features one and two bedroom boutique-style
suites as well as an elegantly appointed dining room and piano bar.
Once a thriving dairy, the Sterling Inn and Spa
is now a fusion between a luxury hotel and a fine inn. When planning
the distinctive redesign architects included elements of the original
building such as the giant concrete milk bottle. Guest rooms offer
tasteful extras such as rain shower heads and personal steam rooms.
Amenities include a tranquil spa, ONE, and AG, a restaurant that
prepares what the land and seasons provide. The majestic Niagara
Falls and Casino Niagara are steps away.
While not new to Ontario’s Finest Inns and Spas, the Inn
on the Harbour and Little Inn has expanded and added
four themed guest rooms. Located just 20 steps from the original
Inn, the Little Inn is new and features luxurious suites with fireplaces,
wireless internet, flat screen TV and amazing water views. Visitors
can embark on an African safari or escape to Paris, Tuscany, Singapore
when they book one of these suites. The Inn is located on the north
shore of Lake Erie in the quaint fishing village of Port Stanley.
Ontario's Finest Inns & Spas, which began in 1991, has grown
from an initial group of 10 Inns to 43 inns and 23 spas. Membership
criteria are based on providing the distinct character and the finest
hospitality in the Province of Ontario through a rigorous annual
quality assurance program.
