DESTINATION ST. JOHN'S ANNOUNCES SILVER PUFFIN AWARD WINNERS
Destination St. John's has announced the winners of the second annual Silver Puffin Awards.

These awards were developed to reward front-line tourism employees for service achievement. Ballots are distributed throughout the Eastern Region of Newfoundland & Labrador, and nominations are accepted from tourists, local residents, and colleagues.

This year's winners are: Andrea Brown (Heritage Shops of NL); Ivy Baker (St. Jude Hotel, Clarenville); Barbara Cadigan (CanJet
Airlines); Ingrid Evans (Hillview Terrace Suites, St. John's); Ashley Green (Winterton Boat Building Museum, Trinity Bay); and Holly Slade
(Ches's Fish & Chips, St. John's).

Winners were presented with a plaque and a $500 award at a luncheon held at the Fairmont Newfoundland Hotel on April 8.
