    From Nanaimo we suggest, Take the Island Highway 19 North. Exit onto Highway 4 West towards Port Alberni and Tofino. Continue through Port Alberni. After approximately 1.5 hours, you will arrive at a T-junction. Turn right to Tofino, left is Ucluelet. Travel through Pacific Rim National Park, 10 minutes past Long Beach look for Middle Beach Lodge/Bella Pacifica sign on the left side of the highway. Turn left off the highway onto MacKenzie Beach Road. Continue past the campground until you reach another junction. Follow the signs accordingly. left to the Main Reception Lodge at the Headlands. Units 27-64, or straight for the Lodge at the Beach, Rooms 1-26. 3 hour scenic drive. From Victoria We Suggest Take Highway 1 North through Nanaimo and continue with directions from Nanaimo. 5 hour scenic drive Flights are also available from Victoria to Tofino with Global. www.globalchartersinc.com From Vancouver We Suggest Horseshoe Bay Vancouver - Departure Bay, Nanaimo Ferry - this ferry is convenient if near downtown Vancouver. Tsawwassen Terminal - Duke Point Nanaimo Ferry - this ferry is convenient if near Vancouver International Airport. Then follow directions from Nanaimo to Tofino. Flights are also available from Vancouver to Tofino with Regency Air. www.sonicblueair.com From Seattle We Suggest Take a ferry to Victoria then drive up the island or drive to Tsawwassen, which is just South of Vancouver and take a ferry to Nanaimo.

    Restaurant / Dining Information  Breakfast is included with all of our rates. We offer buffet-style seafood dinners 2-6 nights a week, depending on the season. Our chef places a heavy emphasis on using fresh, local and organic food when possible. During the warmer months we feature BBQ oysters on the deck a few of times a week. Our Dinner schedule runs as follows Mondays May - October (Dungeness Crab) Tuesdays July - September (BBQ Salmon) Wednesdays April - November (Baked Halibut) Fridays Year Round (Dungeness Crab) Saturdays Year Round (BBq Salmon) Sundays July - September (Baked Halibut) Reservations are required, please see the front desk to make a reservation. For those with dietary restrictions, alternatives are available. The front desk must be made aware of alternative requests by 4.30pm. Please ask the front desk for our most current menu.

  • Tofino is situated in a rain forest setting. Surrounded by 800 year old growth Sitka spruce trees and the Pacific Ocean, it offers an abundance of activities and attractions. There are many artists who live here and a number of good art galleries. There are a variety of tours and cruises to go whale and bear watching. The big surf on beaches adjacent to the the lodge offer up spectacular surfing. Fishing charters are plentiful and kayaking is also popular. There is a long hiking trail set along some of the more rugged sectons of the coastline and there is also golfing. For eating places, Tofino offers up a variety of restaurants with some fine west coast cuisine. Local landmarks include Pacific Rim national park /a few minutes drive south east from middle Beach/ and Long Beach, west of the lodge which is an excellent surfing venue.
