The awards were held recently, with the Wedgewood Hotel & Spa rising to the top yet again!

Since Executive Chef Lee Parson’s joined Bacchus last fall, his skills have been getting noticed with this year’s judges claiming “Parsons is about to create some waves on this side of the Atlantic.” His menus in Bacchus artfully confirm this and it has not gone unnoticed. As one critic mentioned “if I was going to keep my eye on just one chef this year it would be Lee Parsons. He has an amazing touch.”

Glittering Renovations to be completed April 2005!

The ongoing renovations throughout the Wedgewood will be completed later this month and stand to only improve the opulence of this boutique hotel. All guestrooms and suites now offer beautiful Roman marble bathrooms with soaker tubs, and a new room category of Deluxe Executive rooms was created featuring a sleek, stylish walk-in shower in the bathroom and large luxurious sunk-in soaker tub pour deux in the bedroom. If ever there was a reason for the Wedgewood to be known as the Most Romantic Hotel in Vancouver, this is it! Several Suites have also been upgraded to feature the separate walk-in shower as well as a soaker tub in the second bathroom.
