The first week of August and the hot summer temperatures has brought to light the significance of Ontario's spectacular beaches, and the many lakes in what could be called The Aqua Blue Province. Claims of up to 250,000 Lakes exist in Ontario, and a hand full the lakes have beaches that received the prestigious Blue Flag ratings. Lake Ontario Toronto beaches, Kincardine on Lake Huron, and Georgian Bay at Wasaga Beach are the winners for some of the best fresh water beaches in the Province.
Needless to say when there are beaches, there are also boats, some appropriate for those seeking "cloths optional", others appropriate for fun family experiences with water sports and boating experiences with everything from canoes, to motor boats. Just cruising to a white sand beach can be an Ontario outdoors adventure.
