How Far up is Upper Canada?
For many new Canadians this must be a frustrating question every time they see the term "Upper Canada", does this mean upper from the U.S. or upper like the Arctic, or Northern Canada. United Empire Loyalists may have no problem with defining this concept, however I would bet that most Canadian have difficulty distinguishing the difference between Upper and Lower Canada. A good place to start is Upper Canada Village north east of Toronto. According to the Toronto Star, this is ranked as one of the top 10 attractions in Canada by Michelin Guide.
