'Tragically Hip' Film Puts Bobcageyon Ontario In The News.

What happened in a farmer’s field in Bobcaygeon, ON., on June 25, 2011? This documentary film on the Canadian rock band The Tragically Hip chronicles  “one of the most anticipated events in the history of Canadian music.” Anticipated because a cottage country song was defining a rural place-- a homecoming or sorts. Bobcaygeon is a Juno-winning story-song from the Hip’s 1998 album Phantom Power.  Bobcaygeon is located along the Trent-Severn waterway in the  Kawartha Lakes in Cottage Country.  See preview to Bobcaygeon
